When twenty men embrace a brother

Within the hour he is to be wed,

Enfold him with their circling shoulders

Like silent wings about his head,

They bless him with a strength

That will stay with him all his days.

Sap rises in the tree

Each one of them is,

And fundamental seed

Begins to sing.
