Candlelight Vigil for Fatherhood / Stop VAWA II Crusade
The Candlelight Vigil for Fatherhood / Stop VAWA II Crusade now has 11 protests registered for fathers day. Given our late start organizing this campaign this is very good. A strong european contingent is forming under Johann Wey, and will be adding international focus with respect to CEDAW. Ron Isaacs will be attending a conference in Europe with Johann A number of key leaders have endorsed and/or have events planned. NCFM, Family Court Council of American, Men's Defense Association (Richard Doyle), Fathers and Children's Equality, Women for Fatherhood, NCFC (Topeka), Maine Dads, Parents for Children, World-Wide Divorced Dads, Fathers Fighting for Fairness, and more are on the ball and on the roll for Father's Day. We have veteran's groups and second wives groups gearing up to participate as well. The "Stop VAWA II" page has been extensively updated, with input and information provided by many leaders. This page is now a bulletproof tank that NOW will never be able to pierce. I would personally like to thank the many individuals in various organizations that took a few moments to help make this powerful page possible. The Candlelight Vigil for Fatherhood builds the image of men and fathers, while the Stop VAWA II Crusade will kill funding that has so dreadfully hurt all of us.
