This section of MenWeb is devoted to issues surrounding the Promise Keepers, a nondenominational, multiracial organization committed to training
men how to be responsible to God, to their wives and children,
to their churches and to each other. The Washington Post has described
it as "a conservative Christian revival movement challenging
feminism, gay rights and major aspects of liberal society."

other NOW-ers seem very upset about the success of this organization."

The July 1995 issue of M.E.N. Magazine was prepared in anticipation of a Promise Keepers gathering at the Kingdome. In addition to articles on the Promise Keepers, the issue contained articles presenting different aspects of the spiritual side of Men's Work. For example, there is an article by a rabbi abouit the "minion," a gathering of 10 men. The book review column contains books on Men's Work from a Christian perspective. And there is a review of a book about gay spirituality.
